Sophie Saddington is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. As a photographer, she specializes in commissioned author photographs, portraits, and journalism spreads.
As a film director, she made The Patter of the Poets, a short film about John Keats, shot in Scotland in 2023. She is currently producing Geist, a short documentary about the friendship between the poets Goethe and Schiller, to be filmed in the German city of Weimar.
She attained a BA and MA in philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, and works as a press assistant for Amsterdam-based philosophy publisher Octavo Publications. Her thesis focused on 'the short story' and art criticism by analyzing an artwork's forms.
